AGRIS donates land to Comber Agricultural Society

AGRIS Co-operative Ltd. board president Larry Pajot announced last week that an agreement was reached to donate property owned by AGRIS, located in Comber, to the Comber Agricultural Society.
The property, located on Highway 77 in Comber, has become available as grain storage facilities became consolidated to other larger collection points better suited geographically for farmers.
Robert Hornick, president of the Comber Agricultural Society indicated that initial plans are to use the property during the Comber Agricultural Fair each year.  To read more go to www.leamingtonpostandshopper.com.
