Humphreys takes club championship

After shooting an opening day score of five under par 66 last weekend, Brian Humphreys put together rounds of four under par 67 and three over par 74 this past weekend to cruise to an easy 7 stroke victory in the annual Erie Shores Men's Club Championship with his six under par total of 207.
Despite bogeying each of the final three holes, Humphreys' victory never appeared in doubt. Last year's champion and 28-time winner, Jim McCallum, with rounds of 73, 69 and 72, and Senior Club Champion Bill Ruiter, with his scores of 71, 70 and 73, tied for second place at one over par 214, well ahead of all other competitors.  To read more go to www.leamingtonpostandshopper.com.
