Weather cuts South Buxtom program short

Severe weather cut short Saturday night's racing program at South Buxton Raceway but not before Chatham's Brad Authier and Ken Morrison won feature races.
Before the storm hit the speedway, Authier drove like lightning as he bolted from fourth to second in two laps, using lapped traffic to his advantage in the Windride Transportation UMP Late Model feature.
He then thundered to the lead, getting under Ridgetown's Dale Glassford on lap 12 and was in the lead when the race was halted by rain on lap 17, giving the veteran Authier his first feature win of the season. To read more go to www.leamingtonpostandshopper.com.
