Talbot Trail Seniors wrap up golf season

Our final senior scramble for the T.T. seniors took place on Tuesday, October 4th. The wet course was a major challenge for all the team members as Mother Nature has continued to pummel us with excessive rainfalls. As a result the course was open, but the carts were restricted to cart paths only.

We were all forced to deal with thick, wet rough and water soaked fairways. We were lucky to play today! Derek had our greens in really superb condition for the scramble.

The best scores today were much higher than normal, and they reflect the difficulty we all faced. In fact, the best score for the day was 35, or one under par. Five teams tied with this score. Members of each winning team earned three new golf balls.

The best shots of the day that earned their team $10 each came from the

sticks of Vic Reynaert's terrific shot on #7 and Jim Pearson's impressive

hit on #9. Besides the cash, Vic and Jim both received three extra golf balls
