Farm twilight tour


The Essex Soil & Crop Improvement Association is holding their annual farm Twilight Tour on Saturday September 10th at Dave Buchanan's farm, the 2010 Conservation Farm Award winner. This year's event focuses on newly established and existing natural areas on the farm.
The tour will feature a pond and wetland developed for wildlife habitat, as well as a visit through a mature woodlot. Additional demonstrations will include soil structure and the latest in tillage equipment.
