Photographs of the Week


Photographs provided by Lee-Ann Bradt. In honour of Fire Fighter Jonathan Ielpi who perished in the World Trade Center September 11th, 10 years ago. 

On a plaque hanging on a wall beside Jonathan's gear reads the following: 

Jonathan's helmet was found one or two weeks after they found Jonathan. The helmet is the symbol of every Fire Fighter, it's his signature piece that's been blackened and bent by many years of fighting fires. 343 Fire Fighters were lost at the site but only 12 - 15 full helmets were found.
